Nintendo Switch Lite

Built for handheld gaming only, the turquoise Nintendo Switch Lite features a light, sleek design with built-in controllers and a D-pad. The Nintendo Switch Lite has a 5.5″ capacitive touchscreen with a 1280 x 720 resolution.

As a dedicated handheld gaming console, the Nintendo Switch Lite does not have a kickstand and does not support video output to an external display. Instead, it is compatible with most Switch games that support handheld mode, although some games will have restrictions, especially when it comes to motion controls. You may have to use separately sold Joy-Con controllers for full compatibility.

Handheld Mode

The Nintendo Switch Lite is dedicated to handheld gaming. It features built-in controllers and a D-pad.

Compatibility

The Nintendo Switch Lite is compatible with Switch games that support handheld mode. For games that do not support handheld mode, you will have to wirelessly connect compatible controllers (sold separately). If using separate Joy-Con controllers (useful for games that use motion controls), you will need to have a device to recharge them, such as the Joy-Con Charging Grip. Enhanced Parental Controls

The system includes various on-device parental controls, but parents can also download a smart device application that can be used to easily and conveniently monitor and set parental controls for a Nintendo Switch system.

Screen

The Nintendo Switch Lite has a 5.5-inch capacitive multi-touch screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720.

Headphones

With a 3.5mm audio jack, you’ll be able to plug in a pair of headphones.

Storage

The Nintendo Switch Lite has 32GB of internal storage, a portion of which is reserved for use by the system, and has the option to expand its capacity using microSDXC or microSDHC memory cards.

Networking

Connect to the internet via Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) to play with friends and take on opponents around the world. Please note that a separate Nintendo Online subscription is required to access online multiplayer features.
